
This project features a collaboration between Nike, the WNBA, and NBA 2K25 called “LGP” short for Let the Girls Play, aimed at increasing the visibility of women’s basketball and inspiring young women to engage with the sport. The initiative introduces a female WNBA player on the cover of NBA 2K25 for the first time, along with a co-ed gameplay mode that allows players to team up with both male and female athletes. In addition, the game will feature storylines centered around WNBA stars, offering players the opportunity to engage with women’s basketball in a meaningful, interactive way.








The partnership extends to exclusive Nike x 2K merchandise, designed to celebrate the WNBA and its athletes. A strong social media and Twitch influencer strategy ensures widespread visibility, while live-streamed events and influencer gameplay will amplify excitement around the release.
This collaboration uses gaming as a platform to drive gender equality in sports, making women’s basketball more accessible and inspiring the next generation of players.
